At Rest in Washington
Just to the left was a huge garden of small American flags planted in the ground as respects given to those who passed of Covid, and just behind that was the Washington Monument. But this man or woman covered in a blanket, with bare feet sticking out, this was what encapsulated the year of 2020 for me - almost corpse-like. Still here, but broken in more ways than one can fully grasp in the moment.
